Any practice described in this course should be applied by the participant in accordance with professional standards of care used in regard to the unique circumstances that may apply in each situation. By registering for this course, the participant agrees to a release of liability in order to take part in the course.
Online Course Access
Online courses provide unlimited access for 6 months after purchase. If you need that access extended, submit a request through the contact form. Once the course is discontinued for 6 months, no further access will be provided. The purchase and completion of a course does not include access to new/updated versions of the same course.
In-Person/Live Courses
The course organizers reserve the right to cancel a live course up to four weeks prior to the first day of the course. The course can be cancelled at any time due to acts of God or war or family/medical emergencies related to the presenter. The course organizers will not be responsible for any charges incurred by the registrant due to the cancellation of the course, other than the cost of the course.
Handouts and Certificates will be provided in digital format (PDF) at the conclusion of the course.
Release of Liability
By enrolling in an in-person/live course sponsored by The Science PT, you understand that you may be asked to participate in demonstration with the instructor. You authorize any disclosed Protected Health Information (PHI) to be shared with the other participants. You understand and agree that no physical therapist-patient, physician-patient, or other similar type of relationship shall arise as a result of this limited demonstration. The purpose of this participation is to establish basic practical application of content provided in this course.
By enrolling in this course, you willingly and freely consent to participate in the course. You understand that you may cease your participation at any time during the presentation. You understand and agree that at the end of your tenure as a participant in any demonstration, the relationship between yourself and the instructors, course sponsors, and attending participants will terminate. If you are in need of professional services at the end of your tenure as a participant in any demonstration, it is your responsibility to seek such services from a medical professional.
By enrolling in this course, you release and hold The Science PT, the host site, and the instructor harmless from any and all claims of liability that could result from your participation in the presentation.
COVID-19 Policy
Live courses will follow all local guidelines set forth by the relevant health department for the host site. Masks may be required by the host facility regardless of participant vaccination status so make sure that you bring one just in case.
Refund Policy
Full refunds for live courses will be given if written/emailed request is received up to six weeks in advance of the first day of the course. Full refunds minus a $100 administration fee will be given if written request is received between six and two weeks in advance of the first day of the course. We regret that requests received after that time cannot be honored. Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days from the day the request is received.
Refunds will not be given for registrants who fail to attend some or all of the course.
Refunds will not be given for online courses.
